French Modern Bakery Opens Second Outlet in UAE
January 2015, Dubai Media City/Abu Dhabi, UAE: The modern, dine-in bakery, Pascal Tepper French Bakery is nominated as a finalist in the fifth Annual BBC Good Food Middle East Awards 2014, set to be held later this month.
Pascal Tepper French Bakery is a contender in the Casual Dining Café category.
The nomination is particularly timely as it marks the fourth anniversary of the brand’s Dubai Media City flagship outlet, as well as the opening of the first outlet in the capital. Pascal Tepper French Bakery Abu Dhabi opened a 750-square metre cafe in the landmark IPIC Tower on IPIC Square earlier this month.
According to Michel Saab, general manager of Global Bakeries and Restaurants LLC (GBR), the owners of the brand, the French-inspired concept is geared to open more outlets in the UAE and the Middle East.
“We are very enthusiastic about where Pascal Tepper Franchise is headed, and nominations at events such as the BBC Good Food Award give us encouragement to keep growing our brand and answer the region’s demand for new, quality F&B concepts,” he said.
The chain of cafes is the brain-child of Chef Pascal who holds the ‘Meilleur Ouvrier de France’ title – a much-coveted recognition for the best artisan within France’s bakery industry.
“We have a winning combination with a wonderful product, a committed team, consistency of the best baking practices, as well as a master baker in Chef Pascal. This all makes sure that we are able to attract a loyal following from the off,” Saab concluded.
The flagship Pascal Tepper French Bakery is on the main drag in Dubai Media City and its second outlet is in the landmark IPIC Tower on Abu Dhabi’s Muroor Street. Both dine-in bakeries serve across breakfast, lunch, dinner and in between, using legacy Tepper-family recipes and authentic baking ingredients from France to ensure the same typical French taste and quality.
