CBRE Bahrain wins key management contract

Bahrain, May 12, 2014– CBRE, the global real estate consulting firm, was recently awarded the contract for property management and retail leasing for Enma Mall, Riffa, Bahrain.

Prominently situated in East Riffa, Enma Mall, a three-level contemporary style shopping mall comprising 27,000m2of retail space, is anchored by high profile retailers including Geant Hypermarket, Red Tag and Sharaf DG. The mall also features a number of independent outlets, a wide range of casual dining options, coffee shops and a 500 seater food court.

Commenting on the appointment, Steve Mayes, Director, Sales & Agency, CBRE Bahrain, said, “CBRE possesses strong experience in managing and delivering world-class mall management services across different markets, and with a strong foothold in the Kingdom, we are perfectly positioned to deliver high quality services to Enma Mall.”

Reinforcing its position as a leader in real estate sales and leasing, CBRE Bahrain also announced the appointments of Heather Longden as Assistant Manager, Sales & Agency and Michelle Dickinson to fulfil retail leasing and promotional duties at Enma Mall.

He added, “Michelle has considerable international experience and has already built up a good rapport with leading retailers in the region. These key appointments have considerably strengthened our team and have enabled us to expand our range of services in Bahrain and elsewhere in the Gulf.”

In addition, CBRE expanded its residential leasing team with the appointment of Kirsty Leask as Leasing Agent, to focus on the key areas of Juffair, Adliya and Mahooz, but with particular emphasis on the popular Amwaj Islands project. Kirsty joins the highly regarded Coryn Hellewell in the firm’s residential team.

Complementing the expansion of its agency team, CBRE also announced the relocation of its Bahrain head office to Enma Mall. The relocation will bring CBRE closer to the heart of the Kingdom enabling it to better serve its growing client base in Bahrain and beyond.
