Can you crack the interactive house hunt code?
Al Ghurair Centre in Deira is changing the traditional furniture and electronics fair with an interactive, family-friendly treasure hunt. Known for their large-scale events with a difference, this is no traditional treasure hunt, but a social media-led “house hunt”.
From Sunday 15thJune to Monday 30thJune, the Al Ghurair Centre will be exhibiting its brand new Furniture & Electronics Fair throughout the mall. Brands such as 2XL, Pan Emirates, Jashanmal, Emax and Plug Ins will be recreating rooms from a traditional family home within the mall, highlighting the wealth of home and electronics stores at the Al Ghurair Centre.
Known for doing things differently, the Al Ghurair Centre’s in-mall experience will be made family-friendly and fun through a social media- inspired competitive game.
Mall goers of all ages can get their friends and family together for the Facebook orientated treasure hunt, using a special app played through customers’ smart phones or tablets. Customers can simply scan the QR code displayed in the mall, connect to Facebook and join the treasure hunt.
Coinciding with DSMG’s Pre-summer Promotion to win flights and up to AED 500,000 worth of shopping vouchers, the treasure hunt itself will see four lucky winners walk home with AED 10,000 each and 20 winners landing AED 500 vouchers and electronic items, all announced on Facebook.
